Jessica joined the Aspire team in July 2017 and currently serves as a Development Director. Love for her hometown of Birmingham and unwavering confidence in the transforming power of the gospel is why she joined the Aspire Movement. Jessica has a deep desire to see Birmingham thrive and believes that investing in its youth will yield fruit, both now and in the years to come. The gospel changes everything, and it is only because of the gospel that we can hope for real solutions to problems our city has faced for generations. She is passionate about partnering with local churches in pursuit of lasting change in the youngest hearts, souls and minds of the city. Her love for Jesus, warm personality along with administrative gifts and attention to detail provides an enormous asset to the Aspire team of leaders.
After receiving her undergraduate degree from Auburn University, she went on to complete her master’s at The University of Alabama. She spent the past four years working in the corporate office of Hibbett Sporting Goods, Inc., a billion dollar sporting goods retailer headquartered in Birmingham.
Jessica and her husband Alex are actively involved at Iron City Church. In her free time, she is probably planning a road trip to see one of her favorite sports teams.
Her favorite Bible passage is Colossians 2:13-15.
